Understand the design

Read Concepts to build the right mental model: why Velarum is non-custodial, how the payment state machine advances only from signed receipts and on-chain observation, the chain adapter model, access control tiers, and the pricing model.

Look things up

Keep the Reference open while you build: the interactive REST API, the Python SDK surface, and the error codes table with recovery hints.

Build something

When you are ready for production patterns — authenticating agents, pre-authorization policies, webhooks, and multi-chain routing — the Guides and Recipes sections expand after V0. For now, the Quickstart loop plus the Reference is enough to integrate end-to-end on testnet.
